In the food truck lot we went at 4 on a Wednesday and there was no wait. The burger was a decent size the combo is around $17 depending on burger. The fries were super good! No complaints would go again!
Best burger and fries on the island. I've tried just about everywhere in my 5 years on island and nothing beats the Da Bomb Bacon burger. The fries are unreal too (regular fries). If you have a chance definitely a MUST try
Delicious! The curry chicken was cooked to perfection, authentic with perfect amount of spices. The palusami with taro was amazing. The fried taros, hit the spot. I highly recommend this place. Brings back a taste of home. My compliments to the chef
Taro aka kalo is a special food. It's nutritious from the root to the leaf. The taro hut brings taro to the main stage and the dance on your tastebuds is memorable. The food truck had no line and the food came out hot and fast. There are taro buns and taro slices, but the star for me is the palusami plate (vegetarians, vegan, and gluten free). The taro is cooked soft and then topped with melt in your mouth taro leaves. This is all saturated in the best coconut milk in your life. There's no canned stuff here. I was told that this is a Samoan preparation and I'm ready for more! The plate looks small but it is very filling. This is not to be missed. In fact, I loved it more than anything else I've eaten in the area.
My hubby wanted a burger so he ordered the spicy Hawaiian. It took a few minutes but finally the food came out and it is definitely worth the wait. The burger is juicy and the taro bun is yummy and the grilled pineapple on it just so juicy and the spicy sauce just added to perfection.
